The Company offers a broad range of planning, engineering design, environmental, construction observation, program and construction management, systems integration, operations and maintenance, management and a wide range of specialized technical services for the U.S. federal government, state and local government agencies. We provide services for transportation, bridges, site development, environmental services, water/wastewater engineering and right of way engineering and consulting services.



Searching for an experienced Business Development/Sr. Project Manager, to help us grow our services in the Charleston, West Virginia area. This position is based out of companies Charleston, West Virginia office. The duties would include: 
  • Manage all aspects of civil projects from conceptual and preliminary to final design
  • Manage and coordinate work efforts and review work performed
  • Responsible for new business development and be awarded new work
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key clients in the region
  • Responsibility for all aspects of projects: negotiating extras, cost control, staffing and quality control
  • Estimate fees, determine scope of work, prepare proposals and contracts on large and/or multiple projects
  • Satisfy client requirements
  • Maintain industry recognition through prominence in state and regional professional associations
  • Promote and maintain the presence and image of company in the marketplace


  • BS in Civil or Transportation Engineering with 15+ years of related experience
  • Registered Professional Engineer in West Virginia or the ability to obtain it with 6 months
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong  verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in client coordination and marketing


  • PE in West Virginia
  • Established relationships with clients in West Virginia
  • Active in relevant professional organizations/societies
  • Demonstrated history of business development within the civil engineering industry
